Big Al Wilkerson honed his acoustic fingerpicking style performing in honky tonks across his native Alabama. Born in Montgomery (home of Hank Williams Sr.) Big Al’s songbook reflects the larger than life rough and tumble artists he was exposed to in his formidable years in the Dirty South. He is joined by Drew Strummer on lead guitar and Ed Thornton on fiddle.
